Troubleshooting

Usage Limitations

Depending on your subscription plan, you may have limitations on:

  • The number of parsers you can create
  • The number of resumes you can process

The usage progress bar at the top of the Resume Parser dashboard shows your current usage.

Free Plan Limitations

If you're on a free plan:

  • Only your most recent parser will be unlocked
  • Older parsers will be locked (indicated by a lock icon)
  • Upgrade to a paid plan to access all your parsers

Resume Not Processing

If a resume isn't being processed correctly:

  1. Check that the file format is supported (PDF, DOCX, TXT)
  2. Ensure the file isn't password-protected
  3. Try uploading the file again
  4. If problems persist, contact support

Parser Creation Failed

If you're unable to create a new parser:

  1. Check your subscription limits in the usage bar
  2. Ensure you've filled out all required fields
  3. Try refreshing the page and creating the parser again

Tips for Best Results

  • Use parsers for specific job positions rather than mixing different job types
  • Make sure resumes are in the same language as your parser settings
  • Regularly archive old parsers to keep your dashboard organized
  • Use descriptive names for your parsers to easily identify them later
